TEAK

  • On yachts and ships, this tree is used in contact with water. In the excavations carried out by the Germans in the southern parts of India, objects made of teak wood from 800-900 year old graves were unexposed to the light and without rotting.
  •   Teakona (Tectona Grandis) is a tropical tree, native to South and Southeast Asia, known for its resistance to outdoor conditions.

Teak does not contain pests and worms. The reason for this is that it has a tight texture and an oily tree species.
